Keg Beer Filter 10″ With 1 Micron Cotton Style Filter

Keg Beer Filter 10″ for Cornelius Kegs

This bit of kit is very new to us, so new we have not even tested it or used it.
The filter is approx. 10″ high and has fittings to fit between two Cornelius kegs and force filter the beer one to another.

But I am sure you can remove the disconnects that come with the unit
to filter beer for fermenting bin – bin or pressure barrel – pressure barrel,
BUT You may need a pump or gravity to push the beer though
As I said we have not tested or played with these units

The disconnects are ball lock and the filter comes, with a 1 micron cotton style filter

I have also read on some USA web sites you can dry hop beer using these method just by putting hops in the filter housing and running the beer though, again We have no idea how effective this is or not
( I would suggest not having the filter and placing the hops in a fine bag so they don’t block the filter )

The whole unit would need to be sterlised,
I would use a none rinse sterliser such as star san
The filter included should be sterile but again star san can be used as long as used as per the instructions
