Polypins are not pressure vessels and any excess pressure can cuase them to leak
Bag in box is ideal for still cider and still real ales as the bags protects the product from oxygen
If the cider or beer is a little lively the bag can withstand SOME build-up of co2 but not huge amounts
which also forces oxygen out of the bag extending product shelf life
These are no longer the strong thick bags, but more like wine bags
Always check for leaks when cleaning and sterlisering, if any leaks polypins should not be used
